our philosophy
We believe in Strength Training and Protein. We believe anyone can reach their goals, as long as they don’t give up. We believe in helping people learn how strong they can be. We believe in building relationships through the workout and collaborative coaching.
Fit Life Gym is a membership based training gym. Our Coaches believe in Collaborating with our members to define their goals and help them achieve them.
Your time with us will start with an Assessment to determine your goals, needs and which of our programs is the best fit for you.
Consistent Accountability and Periodic Assessments will help you to stay focused on your goals, or change them up when necessary.
Our programs include boot camp style workouts, and small group strength training programs.
Regardless of which program you choose, you will receive support and accountability from our coaching team, as well as Nutrition Coaching.
Our goal is to help you reach your goal, whether that is weight loss, gaining strength, improving your health, or just being able to easily play with your grandkids, and our support and accountability will be designed to cater to those needs.

our owner
Hi, I’m Joshua Douglas, the owner and Head Fitness Coach at Fit Life Gym.
I haven’t always been into fitness. I spent most of my life the self-described “fattest guy in the room.”
It wasn’t easy to lose weight. It took a high level of frustration in my life, and years of therapy before I even got started.
It took years of ups and downs, obstacles, setbacks and achievements.
But after putting the work in and overcoming the obstacles necessary to see results, I felt better than I had in my whole life.
Happier. Less angry. I built better relationships.
When I changed my body, I changed my life. And I realized that I wanted to spend that life helping others do the same.
So many people get stuck wishing their life will change, because they don’t realize how important the smallest action can be.
And that’s where our team at Fit Life Gym comes in. We are here to help you get unstuck and take the small (and big) actions that will help you reach your goals.
